Intermediate Ballet (Ages 11+)

Service Description

Ballet training provides a strong foundation for all dancers. Dancers will learn classical ballet technique and proper terminology as well as variations from classical ballets. Ballet classes focus on combining strength, flexibility, coordination and excellent posture in all exercises. Dancers will gain discipline, attention to detail and grace through these classes. Students will have the opportunity for optional pointe work in this class as well. Intermediate Classes- Ballantyne Location Tuesdays 1:00-2:30pm and/or Thursdays 1:00-2:30pm and/or Saturdays 1:00-2:30 Intermediate/ Advanced Classes- Ballantyne Location Wednesdays 5:30-7:00PM Students can register for 1 class, 2 classes, 3 classes or all 4 classes. Students should plan to attend that same class(es) every week. Example: If your student registers for 1 class and plans to attend on Tuesdays, Tuesdays should be the day that they regularly attend class. Students are not allowed to attend classes on different days depending on the week. To register for multiple class days select the first day of the week that your student plans to attend on the calendar, select the plan that fits your students desired number of classes, and complete the check-out form indicating your day of the week preferences. Students should be 11 yrs old by August 1st 2025 to register for this class. Student may be required to take a placement class prior to enrolling and/or have at least 2yrs of ballet experience. Students younger than 11 require instructor approval- please email info@IngiteDance Productions.com. This session runs September 2nd- May 23rd. Performance details TBA. Students in this class have the option to participate in both our winter and spring performances. Most rehearsals for these shows take place during class time. Please read our handbook to review additional fees associated with performances. Again, participation in performances is completely optional and NOT required for participation in this class.
